Mom is OK, but is really incontinent. No problem as she has plenty of
clothing and I will wash 'em. Only problem is, getting the urine smell
out of her bed pad (cold water) and bedding/clothing (hot water).

Anyone have any advice on how to rid cotton of human urine stink.
I've tried adding baking soda, but no workee. I use liquid All and
Tide w/ color bleach, but I'll buy special laundry detergent if
necessary. All suggestions appreciated.

I wish I could provide some proven remedy for you NB, but I haven't had to
do this. However, I searched (I use Google) for "remove urine smell from
fabric" (without quotes) and there are a good many ideas presented there.
You might want to investigate some of them.
